EPION Coordinator (CAMH PSSP)

Position Description:

Provincial System Support Program (PSSP) is currently seeking a Program Consultant (EPION Coordinator) for a part-time, contract (12 months) position. You will report to the Manager, Knowledge Exchange, to support and coordinate the work of the Early Psychosis Intervention Ontario Network (EPION).

PSSP supports system-level coordination of the development, implementation and monitoring of evidence-informed practices for mental health and addictions services in Ontario and facilitates knowledge exchange. Core functions of the program include: knowledge exchange; supporting the implementation of evidence-informed programs and practices; and understanding and evaluating efforts through performance measurement and evaluation research. As part of PSSP’s role in providing different kinds of supports to the system, PSSP supports networks such as EPION.

EPION is a network of people who work in Early Psychosis Intervention services (EPI) in Ontario, individuals who have experienced EPI services, and family members. The goal of the network is to support the development and implementation of effective treatment and support systems for the early stages of psychosis. EPION’s focus is to help EPI programs bring the benefits of early treatment to all Ontario citizens 14-35 years of age living with psychosis and to bring support to their families. EPION is led by an Executive, plays an active role in helping to expand early intervention resources in Ontario, and helps to implement the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care’s EPI Standards (2011).

This position can be located at any of our CAMH regional offices located outside of Toronto, including: Barrie, Sudbury, Ottawa, Kingston, London, Hamilton, Kenora or Thunder Bay.
